Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head is making your vacation even better and easier than it already is! You know best what you need for your stay whether it is beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cart or other things for adventures like bikes, boogie boards, or cornhole and more.
Each new reservation includes:

  • $250 Beach Gear Credit for 3 to 13 day stays*
  • $500 Beach Gear Credit for 14 to 20 day stays*
  • $750 Beach Gear Credit for 21 day stays*
  • *Any unused beach gear credits do not convert to cash and does not apply to your rental rate or final cost. Stays longer than 22 nights do not receive gear credits but may reserve gear with preferred vendor rates.

     
    No Packing Required – Your beach gear is delivered the day you arrive and picked up on your departure date, meaning there is no packing needed by you! All you do after enjoying your gear, is to leave the items clean and where you found them upon arrival and the rest is taken care of by VayKGear.

    Reserve your stay in one of Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head homes or villas for 3 – 21 days (not available for 22 or more days.)
    Receive Your Free Beach Gear Confirmation
    After Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head has confirmed your reservation, you will receive an email from VayKGear with your Dates and Property Name in the subject line. Open and click on the link and input your reservation number. The complimentary beach gear credit* will be applied automatically.
    Choose Your Gear
    Whether you want bikes/baskets, beach chairs, cart, and umbrella or skim and body boards for the kid in all of you. While the beach gear credit goes a long way, think of this as a one stop shop if you have a larger group. VayKGear makes it more convenient to order those extra bikes and chairs all together, delivered and picked up, making your vacation a breeze. You must select the gear at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.
    Gear Delivery
    On the day of arrival, your gear will have been inspected and delivered to your vacation rental. At villas, chairs and beach items will be put near the front door while bike rentals will be at the bike racks with your reservation number and the Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head logo on the back of your bikes.

    Prepare Your Beach Gear to Be Picked Up
    All you do is make sure the sand is off the items and put them back where they were when you arrived. Gear is not charged for pickup day and crews start at 6AM on departure day and they don’t want to bother you as you are packing up.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    Q: How do I get my VayKGear Credits?
    You will receive an email from VayKGear soon after Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head approves your reservation. There will be a link so you can look over your options, just remember you need to order 48 hours prior to your arrival. Best to order sooner than later as gear is subject to availability and delivery and late fees may apply.
    Q: Can I change my beach gear selection after I order?
    Sure, just make changes up to 4pm the day after your scheduled check-in date. Please note: Selection changes made up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date are free of charge. Selection changes made after 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date are subject to availability, a late fee and delivery will be made on the next scheduled delivery day.
    Q: If I don’t use all my credits can that be applied to my rental rate?
    The beach gear credits from VayKGear are through them, not Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head. You don’t have to use it all, but it can only be applied toward gear, not for your stay.
    Q: What if I am staying 2 or 3 weeks do I get more credits?
    Yes, we want you to stay longer and when you stay 14-20 days you receive $500 Credits, and 21-day stays get $750 in credits. Stays longer than 22 nights do not receive gear credits but may reserve gear with preferred vendor rates.
    Q: What if prior to 09/20/2022 I made a reservation for a vacation rental sometime between 10/1/2022 – 12/31/2023?
    You will receive an email from VayKGear inviting you to take advantage of a special deal Luxury Rentals of Hilton Head has worked out for your stay.
    Q: Can I pick up the Gear, so we have it when we arrive?
    VayKGear makes your life easy by delivering and picking up your items. They will be delivered before 5pm on the day of arrival and picked up starting at 6am on the day of departure (no charge for that day). No need to waste precious luggage space for your trip or waste time to go and get the items.
    Q: What kind of items can we order?
    Click here to see what VayKGear has to offer you – from bikes to Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, coolers and more. Some watercraft items will not be delivered to villas due to restrictions by the HOA’s.
    Q: Are bike locks included?
    Yes, there is one lock for every 2 bikes. Additional locks can be rented for $16 each.
    Q: Can I attach kid trailers or baby carriers to the bikes?
    Not at this time and VayKGear does not allow third party attachments.
    Q: Do I need to be there for Drop-Off or Pick-Up
    No and VaykGear sends a message when order has been delivered.
    Q: Can I get damage protection on my gear?
