It happens to everyone – you’re on vacation having an amazing stay and part of the fun is eating and drinking all the wonderful food you don’t eat during your normal life. We see it all the time, tourist’s grocery carts loaded down with enough items to feed a conquering army. Then the end of vacation comes and there is a lot of food and drink left over that have never been opened. Well now there is a way to ease your guilt by not just leaving your extra’s or throwing it away!

This 32-year-old nonprofit food rescue organization strives to eliminate hunger and waste. They collect and distribute food free of charge to local food pantries, soup kitchens and Family programs here on Hilton Head and the Lowcountry. Our local restaurants and grocery stores donate tons.
